I've been struggling to describe the heat here in Abu Dhabi. Everyone asks how hot it is and my response is always that it's hot, very hot. I've been here a week and I am still shocked everytime when I walk outside from the AC and feel the heat. It's as if I've forgotten that it is 100+ out every day.
I've finally found the words to describe the heat. It feels like you are standing at the trunk of a car with the exhaust blowing over all of your body. You step away but everywhere you stand, you are at the end of an exhaust pipe.
Did you know birds don't sweat? Apparently they walk around with their beaks open panting to cool them down. So if you don't beleive me when I say it is exhaust pipe hot here....take a look at this bird I found in Abu Dhabi.
